Life's Sounds
My wife and I are expecting our first child to be born into this world any day now. Oh, how our lives will change. From being up all night with her because she can't tell us what's wrong, to changing hundreds (if not thousands) of diapers, to feeding her, to staying up with her all night because she had a bad dream, to watching her get on the school bus for the first time, to watching her graduate from high school (and hopefully college). The sounds of our lives are going to change dramatically. Right now all we hear at home is the occasional "MEOW" from one of our three cats. Soon the air will be filled with coo's, gaga's, mama's, dada's and the ever popular cries. We love the fact that God has given us this tremendous blessing, and we hope and pray that we can raise her up to know, love, fear and respect our Creator.
I can not wait to meet my little girl. I think I'm going to be a BIG pushover, and Jen will have to be the discipline in the house.
Sound is a precious thing that God has given to us. Especially the wonderful sounds of your life changing.
